lyrics
Bethany, how long have you known?
Dreadfully, my doubts they have grown,
Paying fines in due time
I’ve kept my heads above the lies
Heavily, our love it has flown
Somedays, I don’t want to know
NO, I don’t want to know
Who you’ll love eventually
Just don’t throw it away until we’ve seen these days out
Only just to see them through without the dark clouds
Eventually, eventually...
Carefully our fears have been sown
Somedays, I don’t want to know
No, I don’t only want to know
But just don’t throw it away until we've seen the pain caused
Only just to see it though without the gain lost
Willing takes some time~tellin’ me
Willing takes some time
But I won’t change my mind,
Say you won’t. Say you won’t.
And it’s hard to be here lately
And that's something I know you must need
Though I’m having troubles namely
Knowing I’m someone I just shouldn't be
Presently, Bethany.
Eventually, Bethany...

() by Sigur Rós is my first introduction to the genre of Post Rock. I remember vividly as a kid watching Vanilla Sky's ending, as he takes a leap of faith to wake up from the terrible nightmare he has been experiencing. It was a genius idea to incorporate the Untitled 4 track from this album also known as "Njósnavélin" to convey the correct emotions to the viewers of the movie. () is Sigur Rós most melancholic album to date in my opinion.
